Executive Director – Economic & Community Development

JL Nick & Associates has been retained to conduct a confidential executive search for an accomplished leader to direct economic and community development initiatives. This highly visible executive opportunity offers the chance to advance economic growth, attract investment, promote redevelopment, and make a lasting impact on a community's future.

The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership across economic and community development priorities, with particular emphasis on business attraction and retention, investment and redevelopment opportunities, community revitalization, and the development of productive public-private partnerships.

The successful candidate will bring demonstrated leadership experience in economic development, community development, business development, or a closely related field. We seek an energetic, resourceful executive with a record of translating strategic objectives into measurable results.

Exceptional communication, relationship-building, strategic planning, and organizational leadership skills are essential. The ability to engage business leaders, government officials, community stakeholders, and prospective investors will be particularly important.

The position offers a competitive executive compensation and benefits package, including an anticipated annual base salary range of $120,000–$170,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
