We’re looking for a Financial Controller who thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment and wants a long-term, stable career with a company that values precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
·       Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
·       Oversee payroll tax preparation, reconciliation, and reporting
·       Maintain General Ledger, including journal entries, month-end close, and financial statements
·       Prepare W-2s and year-end payroll filings
·       Conduct purchasing analysis and vendor cost reviews
·       Implement and monitor internal controls, processes, and procedures
·       Collaborate with the VP of Finance and external CPA firm
·       Learn and utilize accounting software and McLeod LoadMaster (Transportation Management System)

Qualifications
·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
·       Strong understanding of accounting principles (GL, balance sheets, income statements)
·       Experience with payroll tax preparation and filing
·       Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
·       Clear, professional communication skills
·       Ability to learn industry-specific systems
·       Detail-oriented with a preference for structured, organized work
