Warehouse Associate 

Our client is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their warehouse team. The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.
A successful warehouse associate is hard-working, organized and detail oriented. They should be able to keep good records and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.
 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming inventory
    • Check quantity and product description against invoice
    • Inspect product for defects and damage
    • Note any discrepancies and inform warehouse supervisor
  • Organize incoming inventory items appropriately
    • Load inventory on pallets consistent with warehouse policy
  • Pick inventory to fill customer orders
  • Abide by all company safety regulations
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
  • 2+ years warehouse experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
  • Adequate knowledge of standard warehouse procedures
  • Team player with organizational skills
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products – up to 75lbs
  • High school diploma
Full-Time Positions:
  • Flexible Schedule
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday at our facility in Champaign
  • Full Benefits

Starting wage range is $17.00 – $20.00 an hour and increases with background, qualifications, and experience, three weeks of PTO (with one week accrued at date of hire), Medical, 401k matching, dental, vision, and life insurance, and more.
