Warehouse Associate

Our client is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their warehouse team. The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.
A successful warehouse associate is hard-working, organized and detail oriented. They should be able to keep good records and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive incoming inventory
- Check quantity and product description against invoice
- Inspect product for defects and damage
- Note any discrepancies and inform warehouse supervisor
Organize incoming inventory items appropriately
- Load inventory on pallets consistent with warehouse policy
Pick inventory to fill customer orders
Abide by all company safety regulations
Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

2+ years warehouse experience
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
Adequate knowledge of standard warehouse procedures
Team player with organizational skills
Ability to lift or move heavy products – up to 75lbs
High school diploma

Full-Time Positions:

Flexible Schedule
40 hours per week
Monday through Friday at our facility in Champaign
Full Benefits

Starting wage range is $17.00 – $20.00 an hour and increases with background, qualifications, and experience, three weeks of PTO (with one week accrued at date of hire), Medical, 401k matching, dental, vision, and life insurance, and more.
